Of course you’ll be able to change everything by yourself afterwards so you have total control of the platform.

Wherever applicable you’ll see screenshots of a sample site we’ve built to help you understand what we can customize for you.

You’ll of course get access to our Empower Me Tech Lab tutorial videos where you’ll be able to make changes, add your content and copy, change your colors, fonts if you’d like later on, …

Please go through the document and fill out what you can. Skip if you don’t know. We’ll fill the rest together during our call. Please test username and passwords before you copy them.

Logins

HOSTING: (this is were you “rent computer space” to store your website online). If you don’t have one we recommend SiteGround. (You can choose their first package, it’s enough for you to get started.)
(This is NOT your wordPress admin login)

REGISTRAR: This is where you have purchased the domain name. If your domain name is not linked to your Hosting yet (you just bought it and never used it) then we need that login information. If you need to purchase your domain name you can do so on Namecheap.

MEMBERSHIP/COURSE INFORMATION

URL where you want the membership to be installed. We recommend you either use a new domain just for that or you create a subdomain of an existing domain, for example members.yourdomain.com

LINKING YOUR EMAIL SYSTEM

What is your Email System? Select the corresponding box and fill out the information needed.

Choose your Membership plugin

We offer 2 options for your membership  plugin: AccessAlly or MemberPress.

Why only 2 and why these 2? Because we have to provide tutorial videos to show you how to take it from there so we’ve decided to concentrate on our 2 favourites.

The two platforms allow you create a learning platform with multiple courses, a recurring membership and even add your freebies to the platform.

AccessAlly is much more powerful and flexible, it comes with reporting on what your members are doing and is a 2 way synchronisation with your CRM. MemberPress is ideal if you just need a simple subscription model with a friendly sign up process.

AccessAlly

AccessAlly works with Active Campaign, ConvertKit, Infusionsoft and Ontraport only and needs to be purchased separately. If you don't have a license yet we have a link for a trial for you. AccessAlly PRO comes with ProgressAlly which will handle  the progress tracking, assessments/quizzes and gamification for your membership.

LAYOUT/LOOK of Your Membership

The following images are going to show you the layout that we will be implementing for you. Logo, banner, colors and fonts will be changed and customized to your needs if you want them to. Your pages for your course/membership will also be created and customized to fit the branding.

We recommend you create a dropbox or google drive folder and share it with us at services@wphelpclub.com. Name the folder with your name/domain name so we can recognise you That’s where you can share information with us.

LOGIN

This is the page layout that will allow your members to login.

DASHBOARD

This is the page that your members will see after they login no matter what they purchased/signed up for. This page is optional if you only plan to offer 1 course/program and prefer to send them directly to your course page, we can do that.

This example shows you 3 badges: 1 for a free content freebie, 1 for a free course and one for a paid course. We’ll be implementing 1 badge/1 course with this package and you’ll have all the training necessary to add your own with the tech library.

MODULE/LESSON PAGE

This is the page that your members will see when they click on the program/course badge.

This layout has a vertical menu that allows them to navigate through the entire course if applicable. That menu can be easily customized or deleted if not needed.

CONTACT/SUPPORT PAGE

This is the page that your members can go to if they need to get in touch with you. It can have a contact form, an email address, however you want them to be able to get in touch with you.

RESOURCES PAGE

This is the page that your members can go to for extra resources from you (links to articles, videos, audios, tools,.), this is where you get to be resourceful for your members. that page can be deleted if you don’t want it.

FAQ PAGE

This is another optional FAQ page that you can use to answer FAQs.

CUSTOMIZATION

STYLING

• If you haven’t already, go create a google drive or dropbox folder for this project. This is what we’ll be using to gather your graphic information.
• make sure you invite us at services@wphelpclub.com
Name the folder with your name/domain name so we can recognize you!
• Link to the google drive or dropbox folder (enter the url even if you’ve just invited us)

COLORS

Specify the color palette you’d like use to use. In this example if have a black and grey and a pink accent color but you can choose something different (and you’ll be able to modify it later as well).

Don’t have a file for your colors? No problem! Enter your colors below (in format #DFDFDF) :

7. You can have a banner at the top of the dashboard page. If you want one, place the file in the folder. Recommended banner size: 2000*400 to 2000*530

8. The course badge for your course. This is the image they will click on to get access to the course. You can provide a second image that is either greyed out or that as the mention “Learn more” or something like that, that we can use to display if the member does not have access. it will send them directly to either a sales page or the page of your choice. We’ll set it to direct to the template sales page and you can modify it anyway you’d like with the tutorial videos.

You can have a course banner displayed here. This is optional. Recommended banner size: 2000*400 to 2000*530

FONTS

The theme we are using (Divi) comes with tons of google fonts pre-loaded. You’ll need to choose 2 but you’ll be able to use any font in the future. We’ll set you up with a font for headings/titles and a font for your general body text. Here is the list of fonts supported by Divi.

Our tutorial library will show you how to add paid/other fonts to your site if that’s something you’d like to do in the future.

MEMBERSHIP/COURSE INFORMATION

NUMBER OF STAGES OR MODULES AND THEIR NAMES (if you have name). If you prefer to use Module 1… or Lesson 1 that’s cool too just let us know below. A module defines a PAGE. you can have more than 1 video on 1 module. This defines the pages we will create for you as part of the course.
